Day 1: Arrival at Yangon (welcome to Myanmar)

After arrival at Yangon International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative local guide. Start your sightseeing with a drive toward Yangon downtown area to observe the faded colonial landscapes and heritages such as city hall, Mahabandoola park, central post office, historic Strand Hotel, custom house and the high court, etc. Thereafter, you move on and enroute at China Town to observe their daily lifestyle, here you can have a chance to shop for many tropical fresh fruits also. Transfer to the hotel for check-in and overnight in Yangon.Hotel: Melia

Day 2: Yangon > Bagan

Breakfast at hotel, transfer to domestic airport to take a flight to Bagan. On your Bagan sightseeing make a first stop at Nyaung Oo market. Continue on with visits to selection of most important pagodas and temples in Bagan. These include Shwe Zigon Pagoda proto type of later Myanmar Stupa build by King Anawratha, Wetkyi-In Gubyaukgyi Temple, the temple with fine mural painting of Jataka scenes. Anandar Paya, well known for its unique architecture, and Dhamayangyi Temple, Thabyinnyu temple, the highest monument of all over the plain of Bagan, finally Anandar temple, the best preserved masterpieces of Mon architecture and near by brick monastery, one of the few survived from Bagan period. After some free time visit Lacquer ware workshops to observe the traditional making process of Myanmar souvenir. After the whole day of exploring the richness of Bagan proceed to a view mount to admire the panoramic view of entire ruins under most wonder sunset. The day of the tour conclude here. Day 3: Bagan > Mandalay > Pyin Oo Lwin

After breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival you will be met by our local guide and proceed to historic colonial hill station a cool highland 1,100 meters above sea level “Pyin Oo Lwin”, as you enter a timeless serenity greets. This well-kept resort of beautiful Tudor architecture, nostalgic stagecoaches, happy market place and the fresh and lush bloom of colorful flowers, is worth a visit. Highlights include a visit to Maha Ahnt-htoo-kanthar Sutaungpyae Buddha, the spacious and verdant 142 hectares of Kandawgyi Botanical Garden with its cherry blossom in December and January, and also the nearby Pwekauk Waterfalls. Day 4: Pyin Oo Lwin > Mandalay

After breakfast, descent with a drive to Mandalay. Mandalay was the last kingdom as well as the center of the Myanmar cultural, tradition, arts and crafts. First make excursion to the former third capital of Amarapura, we will visit Mahagandayon Monastery, where more than a thousand monks live and study the Buddha scripture, great place to observe the monks having their last meal of the day in total silence and the monks live, move on to visit U Bein bridge. Thereafter, make your comprehensive tour to Mandalay, highlight include the Mahamuni Pagoda, home to a spectacular Buddha image covered with thick layers of gold leaves, local workshops to see kalaga tapestries being made, marble being carved into Buddha images, and gold leaf being beaten into paper-thin pieces. Next visit beautiful Mandalay golden palace, Shwenandaw Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda, where houses “the world’s largest book” inscribed with the Theravada Buddhist scriptures on 729 marble slabs, evening drive up to Mandalay hill for a fantastic overview of the entire plain. Day 5: Mandalay > Heho > Inle Lake

After breakfast, transfer to Mandalay airport for your flight bound to Heho. Upon arrival meet and assist by local representative and arrange your transfer to Nyaung Shwe (gateway to Inle Lake). After arrival board on a traditional long and tall motorized boat for a sightseeing tour of the lake. Traveling on the lake is an exhilarating experience for nature lovers the only place to discover the unique traditions of the Intha people. Today visits will cover floating village of Ywama, the lake’s downtown and largest village on the Inlay Lake, Phaungdaw Oo pagoda housing five sacred Buddha Images, the weaving village of Inpawkhon, famous for traditional silk-weaving, Padaung ethnic, Se Gaung Village, famous for the blacksmith work and Nan Pan Village with cheroot making and boat-building dockyards etc and end your day with a visit famous Ngaphechaung, a museum like monastery where old belongings of many monasteries are restored. Overnight in your choice of hotel. Day 6: Inle Lake > Yangon

After breakfast, transfer to Heho airport for domestic flight to Yangon. Arrival at Yangon airport, an interesting journey will start at the Bogyoke Market which was built in 1920, wide choice of jeweleries, Jade, ruby, precious stone and Myanmar traditional clothes, souvenir, paintings and handicrafts are on sale. Next drive to Kandawgyi Park, a wonderful place to stroll around and relax your mind in the nature alongside lake has opportunity to take photographs towards Karaweik Hall and the Shwedagon, finally proceed to admire the magnificent Shwe Dagon Pagoda, the greatest and oldest golden monument on earth built over 2600 year ago. Return and rest at your hotel in Yangon. (B)
